ALL PERSONALISED ITEMS REQUIRE 3 to 4 WEEKS (THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE DELIVERY TIME)
WE RECOMMEND YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER 4 to 6 WEEKS IN ADVANCE.

At different times of the year, it can become quite busy.
i.e. Christmas | Easter | Spring | Summer | Autumn |Winter
Pretty much all year round especially when there are certain Religious events.
We take every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible.
Please NOTE that different occasions have different time frames and quantities also impact the due time frame.
Please keep in mind that each handcrafted item is individually processed & require drying time.
ANY ORDERS PLACED WHILE WE ARE ON A BREAK & DOES NOT COMPLY WITH OUR DUE TIME FRAME WILL BE WILL AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED. YOU WILL BE CONTACTED. NOTE THAT EACH ORDER IS INDIVIDUALLY ASSESSED & ANY REFUNDS THAT WILL BE ISSUED WILL INCUR THE MERCHANT PROCESSING FEE.

- Time Frame for Personalised items as stated above is 3 to 4 WEEKS.
- Time frame DOES NOT include delivery time.
- Orders are always DUE 7 to 10 business working days prior to the Event date.
- This is determined if the order is to be delivered or collected in store.
- For example: If you place your order e.g. 5x weeks before your event it will still be due 7 to 10 business working days prior to the event date or you order say in January and the event is in April your order will still be due 7 to 10 business working days prior to the event date.
- Once your order is complete you will be notified of the collection date via email (Please check your junk email folder) or SMS. Please contact us if you haven’t received an update.
- We use an Express Postal service to deliver your items. Depending on your location and the postal network you should receive it within 1 to 3 business working days.
- Please Do Not assume that your order will be processed quickly because we use an Express Postal service.

Non personalised items like candles are quite popular as a last minute option when there is no time to personalise.
- These sell out very quickly especially through our Children’s Boutique ‘Little Dream’ as well as online. Availability can change quite quickly. 90% of the time we have we have ‘Available Now’ items like Non-Personalised Baptism Candle/s, memorial candles, hair brushes, Baptism | Christening towels, coat hangers, guest books, oil or holy water bottles, etc.
- We do sell out of certain popular Non-Personalised collections. They are usually replenished quite quickly.
- (*This depends on item and availability) Time frame for Non-Personalised items is 1 to 3 working days.
- NOTE: This time frame does not include delivery.
- Non-Personalised items are all hand decorated so processing and drying time is required.

* OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION *
Please keep in mind that each handcrafted item is individually processed, and they require drying time.
These products are handmade & decorated therefore slight imperfections may occur.
Candles:
- Candles are available in a variety of font colours. Some colours are not available due to the design chosen (this depends on the candle design) & different font styles. Contact us if you like a certain design but in a certain colour.
- Font size will be reduced if you select more than 2 or 3 names on the candle.
- Ribbon/s will complement the font colour selected unless other colours are requested.
- Some laces / motifs are subject to change without notice. Replacements may vary slightly from the product image. This will only occur if the original laces / motifs used on the design is no longer available.
- Candle price is for front of candle only.
- Price does NOT include a photo unless option is available. Please contact us to quote.
- Price also does NOT include any writing on the back of the candle e.g. Godparents, Church, poem/verse, image/s or any other information. Please contact us to quote if you would like writing on the back.
Most designs can cater for extra information (no photo) to be added on the front of the candle. If this is what you would like the candle will be slightly modified to fit the extra information. e.g. Cross will be smaller or placed on the base of the candle. This depends on the design chosen. You will be notified if this will occur. - Foiling option: This is a shiny metallic looking font. Due to the nature of the foiling process some black spots may be present after application. All care and attention are taken for this not to occur. This should not be confused as the product being faulty.
- Please add any extra information you would like to add on the candle in the ‘Other Comments or Special Instructions’ field.
- If you would like a proof of the candle, please advise us. The proof will be emailed to you or sent via SMS to your mobile number. Please check your junk email folder.
- Please advise if the name/s need to be written on one line e.g. “Ivy Rose” or certain names need to be on the same line.
- Please advise if you would like certain names capitalised and if you would like the date written in full and not numeric i.e. 01.01.2023. Note if date is written in full the writing will shrink to fit the candle size chosen.
DELIVERY OR COLLECTING FROM OUR ‘LITTLE DREAM’ CHILDREN’S BOUTIQUE, LEICHHARDT, NSW, AUSTRALIA:
Special Day Candles will only make delivery to the address provided by you.
- Please ensure you have correct contact details, such as your name, contact telephone number/s and a correct email address, etc. Once your order has been placed you will be personally notified within 24 to 72 hours via email (this is not an automated message. PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK EMAIL FOLDER) with the collection or delivery date. Please respond to this email.
- Delivery time will depend on design chosen, quantity and product availability.
- Please allow extra time for weekends and public holidays. Please also add extra time during peak postage and holiday periods, such as the lead up to Christmas.
- Special Day Candles is not responsible for any breakages or damage while items are in transit. We take every precaution and measure to carefully package our items.
There are two options for receiving your order/s within Australia:
- Pick Up your Order: (No Charge for this service) If you live in the Sydney Metropolitan, you can pick up from our ‘Little Dream‘ Children’s Boutique, Shop 2, 421 Parramatta Road, Leichhardt, NSW 2040 Australia.
- Express Post Delivery: Prices vary depending on the weight and size of the item purchased.
(Note: this does not include Keepsake Boxes and Lambatha (Lamada) Candles. Ask for a quote unless specified)
You will see the amount when it’s time to check out. Australia Post estimate delivery to be within 1-3 business days using the Express Post network, add 2-3 days outside the Australia Postal Network. Refer to Australia Post for details of Postage area that applies to you. Please Note that due to Covid19 and staff shortages in certain locations may experience some delays. Special Day Candles is Not Responsible for delivery times.
